Unlike A., I unfortunately do not partake in the working out/gym life/fitness world. Suffering from a combination of intimidation, utter laziness, and anticipated boredom, my Nike Luna’s have sadly collected dust. It’s not that I don’t want to be active (I really, really do) but I desperately want to have fun while being active.
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the launch of Kingwest’s latest fitness class: JUKARI Fit to Fly, developed from a long-term partnership between Reebook and Cirque du Soleil. The hour-long, full-body workout is performed on a specially designed piece of equipment called the FlySet.
The result is a fitness experience that gives the sensation of flying while strengthening and lengthening the body through cardio, strength, balance and core training. JUKARI Fit to Fly is accessible and scalable to all fitness levels.
This is exactly the type of work out that speaks to me: getting in shape while having fun! Count me in!
Beginning Monday, March 28, Kingwest Fitness in Liberty Village will offer JUKARI Fit to Fly to members and non-members.
