The Regime of Chaos art exhibition was an absolute hit.
Beautiful and one of a kind pieces of art took over the walls of Gallery 1313. I, along with the other attendees were extremely impressed with the amount of talent the four artists brought to the exhibit.

Below are some photos I took of the show, as well as some street style photos of  the lovely people I met at the exhibit.

“The Divide” by, Susie Park

Artist, Susie Park

This was one of my favourite pieces. I could not get over the fact the artist only used a ball point ink pen to create this. Absolutely insane.

This Thursday, August 19th I will be attending the 001 at Gallery 1313 Art Exhibition and I am very, very excited!

“001 Will be the first of many shows by four artists who are connected by nothing more than a state of mind. There is almost no stylistic affiliation between Park, Ciric, Zazai or Rizvi; each of their work tackling their sense of alienation in a world that seems too content to conceptualize irresponsibly and bathe in the facade of logic without the integral measures of foresight or hindsight. This is not a conceptual art show. The mere idea of conceptual art reduces visual culture to pre-meditated and refined ideas, focusing on what we know and think of consciously. However, it is evident that this focus is narrow, and leaves less space for the unknown and mystical, a realm that dwarfs our known world incalculably. The four artists meet within this silent enclave of neglected thoughts.

A region where pre-meditation meets the apparently ‘random’ forces of physicality and intuition, to incite a reaction that strives to capture more than just consciousness. Beyond structured thoughts, into a Regime of Chaos.” - Regime of Chaos

Below are a few paintings created by the incredibly talented and super lovely, Ms. Susie Park

“Susie Park is an emerging toronto-based artist. Her work is abstract, with an influence of urban landscape imagery and calligraphy.” -Susieparkart.com

Check out Susie’s website for more of her dope-as-hell paintings here and if you are in the Toronto area this Thursday, feel free to come by! All are welcome and it’s bound to be a good night.
